The heat wave which has been so remarkable in Perth for March, continues.
The maximum temperature at the Observatory on the top of Mt. Eliza yesterday was 102.8 degrees, and to-day the weather was extremely sultry, but the thermometer registered 95.5 in
It was very close to-night. One effect of the the heat wave has been a great increase of sickness which is seriously felt in the police force, six prominent officers have been confined to their beds.
The twelfth day of the remarkable March weather continued to-day, and there were no indications of the heat abating.
The thermometer at the Observatory; although on the comparatively cool heights of Mt. Eliza, registered nearly 96 degrees at noon.
