Outsiders Weather and Ice Age Watch: European ski fields set to open early

Sky News host Rowan Dean says European ski fields are opening early thanks to heavy summer snow while at the same time Australia is preparing for a bumper harvest as rain boosts winter crops in New South Wales according to reports.

He said the Scottish village of Altnaharra recorded Britain’s coldest September temperature in 23 years as a “bitter Arctic front” begins its descent into Western Europe.

“But it’s not just Scotland feeling the icy embrace of the Grand Solar Minimum and low sunspot activity we are currently in. The European ski fields are opening early thanks to heavy summer snow,” he said.

“And in America, hundreds of all-time low temperature records tumbled over the past week but not a word from the mainstream media”
