ADELAIDE, Friday.
The temperature here to-day passed the century for the sixth day in succession, reaching a maximum of 103.8 degrees at 1.30 p.m.
At Loxton the maximum was 117.
Horses in teams dropped from exhaustion, and birds were flying into the houses to escape
the heat.
