Victoria, which was sweltering in summer heat a few days ago, this morning had the first snow<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

storm of the year.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The snow was followed by a gale. Already more than six inches have fallen at Mt. Donnabuang, and to-night rain set in. Hotham Heights, in the Alps, reports a driving snowstorm early to-day, and Mt. Buffalo and Marysville are showing heavy white mantles.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The tops of the hills at Marysville were covered by the first snow for the year.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This morning rain and sleet fell in the lower levels, but no snow was reported in the township, although the temperature indicated that it was likely to follow.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
