HUNT\u2019S OPINION.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"zone onPage readMode\" data-page-id=\"351244\" data-x=\"4510\" data-y=\"2864\" data-w=\"613\" data-h=\"965\" data-rotation=\"-1\">\n<div class=\"paragraph onPage\">\n<div class=\"line\">\n<div class=\"read\">&#8220;I can hold out no hope of a change tomorrow.\u201d said Mr. Hunt the Commonwealth meteorologist last night \u201cOur records from all over Victoria show high temperatures on Saturday.<\/div>\n<div class=\"read\">In fact at all the inland places the readings were over 100 degrees.<\/div>\n<div class=\"read\">The highest registration was at Horsham where the mercury touched 119 degrees.<\/div>\n<div class=\"read\">The high temperature at Adelaide continues. On Saturday 110 degrees was reached and at 9 o\u2019clock this (Sunday) morning, the thermometer stood at 101 degrees.<\/div>\n<div class=\"read\">Of course, the change will reach Adelaide before it arrives in Melbourne, so far we have no news of its having been felt in Adelaide.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph onPage\">\n<div class=\"line\">\n<div class=\"read\">\u201cWhat is the latest information regarding the change?\u201d was asked \u201cpractically that we know is that west of Eucla the weather is very much cooler than it is here.<\/div>\n<div class=\"read\">On the West Australian goldfields the temperature was down to 69 degrees at 9 o\u2019clock on Saturday morning. However, it is apparent that the change is still considerably to the west of Adelaide.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph onPage\">\n<div class=\"line\">\n<div class=\"read\">The barometer here is fairly steady, which is also an indication that we cannot expect an immediate change.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph onPage\">\n<div class=\"line\">\n<div class=\"read\">\u201cWhen may it be expected\u201d I should certainly say no to tomorrow.
