Destructive bush fires are still raging in the country. Miles of fencing and acres of grass have been burnt, and cattle destroyed.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Meralong, a township on the Blue Mountains, was threatened by a wall of flame 50 feet high, and 30 miles long.
