Weather prophet Ogg, (Queensland) in a long range forecast issued six months ago predicted very hot weather between January 8th and 15th. If this long-range system can be relied on (remarks a press critic) heat waves of greater intensity than has been the case for some considerable time may be expected during the latter\u00a0 portion of this summer.<\/div>\n
Consequently protracted, periods of prostrating conditions will be experienced throughout the States, and most likely be attended with fatal results, both this month and next.<\/div>\n
Destructive tornadoes hail and deluges of rain are sure to eventuate on each occasion and cause floods, particularly in tropical regions. And as an outcome of excessive heat, tornadoes and hailstorms do much damage in many latitudes, even to New Zealand during the first half of February.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
