The gusts of wind from the north-west were, throughout yesterday and Sunday, like blasts from a furnace, almost scorching the face.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<div class=\"read\">The physical powers suffered under great depression, and general illness was caused, especially<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"line\">\n<div class=\"read\">among children.<\/div>\n<div class=\"read\">The thermometer during both days indicated 115 degrees in the shade.
