SYDNEY, Mon. \u2014 Sydney had a taste of real \u201coutback weather\u201d to-day\u2014 a yellow dust haze<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Coastal areas, too, have come into the grip of the heat wave, and temperatures of 100 and 102<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

were recorded at Grafton and Casino.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Divisional Meteorologist, Mr. Mares, said to-day that a high pressure system from South Australia, accompanied by cooler and squally winds, is approaching, and when it strikes the hot conditions scattered thunderstorms and showers are likely to occur.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
