The Weather Bureau agrees that it has been “July in November in Melbourne for the past<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

10 days.”<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

So far this November has been one of the chilliest in 20 years.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The lowest minimum temperature since November 1 (42.5 deg.) was only 0.5 deg. higher than the average minimums in the middle of July.<\/div>\n
Two other night minimums were also below 45 deg and the three day maximum temperatures which were above, normal were only above average by a degree or two.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Cup Day was a suitable one for comparisons, said the Weather Bureau.<\/div>\n
This year the maximum the lowest for the month, incidentally \u2014 was only 59.4 deg. compared with 93.2 deg. last year.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

If the glass remained so low for the rest of the month (and, happily, It was unlikely) the average<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

temperature for November would be the lowest since 1887.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
