Cold mornings continue with the temperature at 49 degrees at 6 a.m. and 54 degrees at 9 a.m. today.
Today’s maximum temperature up till 3 p.m. (67 degrees) makes it the coldest day since
October 31 last year. Yesterday’s temperature of 70 degrees followed 68 degrees registered on
February 12, as the coldest days since November 9.
The official South Australian forecast issued at noon for the ensuing 24 hours was: “Occasional
very light showers on the south coast, eastern Mount Lofty ranges and lower south-east, fine elsewhere; cool to mild day temperatures, cold night, moderate to fresh south to south-east winds eastern half south-east to east, elsewhere some dust storms in interior.”
