After the warmest October night for ten years, Perth sweltered in hot weather yesterday when the temperature reached 92.2deq. at 1.5 p.m.
This was the highest point ever recorded in Perth in the first half of October.
High temperatures during the previous night fell to a minimum of 66.ldeg. at 6.15 a.m., equalling the minimum registration of October 1. 1944.
Not since October 11, 1937, when the minimum was 66.6 deg., has Perth had a warmer October night.
