NEW YORK, April 10.-The Ant- arctic is getting warmer, it is concluded from a preliminary study of aerial photographs taken by the Navy task force. These indicate that the retreat of the ice cap is much greater than was previously believed.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The pictures show that water erosion has begun to soften the rugged landscape in valleys gouged by the glaciers.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
