The answer is, because during the unprecedented record heat caused by global warming, we no longer get March heat waves. In my 65 years, I don’t recall any March heat waves.<\/p>\n

That doesn’t mean we didn’t get any in the last 65 years, but I don’t think we had any during my working life which has been pretty much all outdoors. It used to be February that we got the worst heat.<\/p>\n

This year we didn’t even get February heat waves. We got record cold weather. They say it was the coldest in 15 years, but I say I have never experienced it, and that the temperatures have been tampered with as is usual these days by the Bureau of Meteorology.<\/p>\n

There seems to be no end so far to the March heat wave stories. I haven’t looked yet for any for April. That will be interesting for me.<\/p>\n

So far a search for March heat waves from the year 1954 to the present has not turned up any results.<\/p>\n
