the islands have fallen into the sea, which is<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

fathomless in those parts. It is, however,<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

acknowledged that reefs, have arisen from the<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

water and gradually formed islands ; and the in-<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

habitants of Male remember the outer edge of a<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
circular reef in their harbour to have had two<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
fathoms in the shoalest part, which is now dry at<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
