PERTH, Fri.-Perth has been sweltering in an unseasonable heat wave for the past three days.
Today’s maximum temperature at the observatory was 102.8 deg. at 3.47 p.m., which is the hottest March reading since March 3, 1935.
In the centre of the city the temperature at 1 p.m. today was 105 deg.
Wednesday’s maximum was 94.7 deg., and yesterday’s 97.8 deg.
