Will the ABC match the Murdochs & News Corp’s $9M donation to bushfire relief

News Corp has pledged $5m for Australian bush fire relief along with $4m pledged by the Murdoch family. Maybe the PM should pledge $$$$ from ABC funding to the same cause. Perhaps some of the ABC’s commentators will pledge a year’s salary, too??
Sounds fair enough to me!
News Corp and the Murdochs are taking $9M out of their businesses and donating it to bushfire relief.
That’s money they won’t be able to use on publishing, reporting or personal enjoyment.
So if the Murdochs and their businesses can do without to help bushfire victims, surely the ABC can cut back on some of the crap it puts out and put the money to bushfire relief too!
