JUST FIVE HOURS FROM BLAMING WARMING FOR THE DROUGHT TO BLAMING IT FOR THE RAIN
My question on Friday, now that drought we were told was caused by global warming has made way for floods: “How long before these rains are global warming, too?”
Answer: just five hours and 28 minutes..
At 4:33pm that same Friday, the Sydney Morning Herald’s paid climate alarmist, Peter Hannam, and Matt Bungard delivered!:
Just as climate change likely had an impact on the recent bushfire season by raising temperatures and the odds of extreme fire weather, a heating world also lifts the odds of extreme rainfall events.
Typically for Hannam and the SMH, there is not a single mention in this story of the Indian Ocean Dipole that the Bureau of Meteorology blamed for the intense recent dry and (now that the dipole has switched) says is behind some of the rain, along with an increase in monsoonal activity.
Ignore the science! Just shout climate change, climate change, climate change!
