THE MERCURY AGAIN ROSE over the century mark today the fifth day of the heat wave. These pictures round Adelaide show (TOP) workmen cooling off in the shade of trees on the banks of the Torrens, near the University. BELOW LEFT-These two brothers, dressed alike in white shorts and shirts, at least looked cool even if they didn’t feel it.
