Outsiders Weather and Ice Age Watch: Tennis players complain over cold French weather
Sky News host Rowan Dean says it has been freezing at the French Open to the point where tennis players are complaining about the cold weather they’re facing.
Mr Dean said former world number 1 Victoria Azarenka and Spanish champion Rafael Nadal have come out to discuss the cold weather.
“Meanwhile, scores of temperature records were smashed as a cold blast swept through the eastern United States last week,” Mr Dean said.
“Dozens of temperature records were smashed as a shot of cold air swept through the region, weeks ahead of the average for much of the area,” he said.
