Brisbane’s Third Warmest Night On Record
BRISBANE, December 12.
Last night was the third warmest on record. The minimum temperature was 79 degrees, which is the highest since 1919.
An unprecedented heat wave is being experienced in Cloncurry, and for the past seven days in
succession the temperature has been more than 100.
Today the thermometer reached 110.6 degrees.
Birds are dropping dead from trees, the water supply is becoming exhausted, and water is being turned off from the mains for 13 hours a day.
