One of the biggest scout and guide rallies to be held in the State during the weekend had an unfortunate sequel after an open air church party at Donnybrook this morning.
About 20 teenage girl guides, mostly from Bunbury and Collie, were affected by the heat.
First-aid scouts and a doctor treated most of the cases in Donnybrook and others weretreated on a bus taking the Collie contingent home.
Four were given hospital treatment.
