POLAR WINTERS. 07 July 1934. “The winter has been unseasonably warm for such low latitudes. On one occasion the thermometer touched 16 deg. above zero.” This was during winter because of warmer winds moving further south than usual. Somehow they are astounded that with the hot northerly winds we’ve had this summer, a bit of that warmth might reach the Antarctic and cause a .09 degree record.

POLAR WINTERS. 07 July 1934. “The winter has been unseasonably warm for such low latitudes.” If any of the five recent greenie expeditions to the poles that got stuck in ice for months had of gotten lucky and found some warmth, the rest of the world would have to move there or fry.
