OUR CLIMATE.

The extraordinary changes in the climate and conditions of Australia formed the subject of the first report from the Quaternary Climate Committee of the Australasian Association for

the Advancement of Science.

Before, the present period was one of more, arid climate, and antecedent to this was another climate, distinctly, humid in character, quite different from that now existing.

A study of the flora of the coast strongly suggested that the climate has there grown much more moist than in the period immediately prior to the last.
